Consumer neuroscience research consistently demonstrates that tactile properties influence perceived product value independently of visual cues. For shrink sleeve packaging, this means the finish specification is a commercial decision, not just an aesthetic one.
A UV-cured matte topcoat applied over the printed film before seaming. Creates a velvety, low-friction feel associated with luxury cosmetics, premium spirits and niche food brands. Matte finish also reduces fingerprint visibility — critical for dark-coloured packaging on refrigerated shelves.
